Sales Representative
Licensed since 2010, Sina Tahamtan brings over 15 years of high-value transactional and advisory experience across the full spectrum of commercial real estate assets, as well as investment-grade residential properties. His expertise spans multifamily, investment properties, student housing, land (including development and farmland), industrial, and mixed-use assets.
Sina has advised a diverse client base—including institutional landlords, REITs, family offices, private investors, first-time buyers, and emerging operators—delivering consistently rigorous, insight-driven representation across all mandates. He has been retained by private, corporate, institutional, and not-for-profit entities for acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic advisory assignments. He also brings extensive experience working with court-appointed receivers and legal counsel on transactions involving insolvency, estate sales, and other time-sensitive or complex mandates. His clients have included public housing authorities, international investment groups, and several of Canada’s largest landlords. From seasoned institutional clients to first-time investors, Sina applies the same disciplined, insight-led approach to every mandate he takes on.
His portfolio includes the listing of a 200+ unit high-rise multifamily asset with ground-floor commercial in downtown Kingston, multi-property portfolio sales on behalf of estate trustees, and advisory mandates involving development land, hotel properties, car wash operations, and self-storage facilities. He has successfully executed both single-asset and multi-asset transactions across varying levels of complexity and scale. Sina is known for his discretion, analytical depth, and ability to navigate high-stakes transactions with professionalism and precision.
Before entering real estate, Sina held roles with the United Nations Association of Canada and later led international trade and investment initiatives across the Asia-Pacific. His global business background—spanning both corporate and government engagements—brings a culturally fluent, commercially grounded perspective to negotiation and deal execution.
A data-driven advisor, Sina integrates market analytics and technology into his process to uncover value, support underwriting, and deliver informed, evidence-based recommendations. His disciplined, insight-led approach has positioned him as a trusted advisor across both conventional and special-situation assignments.
Sina holds a BScH from Queen’s University and is an active contributor to housing policy and advocacy in the region. He is a past President and board member of the Kingston Rental Property Owners Association, a former elected representative with the Federation of Rental-Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO), and a recurring advisor to CMHC on Kingston’s rental market trends.
